Congress is making decisions right now that could impact your housing – and the lives of thousands of families across the country. While both the House and Senate have advanced spending plans that mostly avoid the massive cuts proposed by the Trump administration, serious threats remain

By October 1, Congress must finalize a federal funding agreement for the next year. Without enough funding or delays in the process, families in our region and nationwide could lose the homes they rely on. This includes the Housing Choice Vouchers that help millions afford safe, stable housing.

At the same time, some federal officials have proposed imposing arbitrary work requirements and time limits on U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) rental assistance programs. These changes would destabilize housing for millions of families and undermine the long-term success of rental assistance programs.

We need your voice TODAY to protect these vital resources and reject punitive policies that would harm our communities.
