Hello Montana,

SB 307 was just scheduled for its first floor vote THIS AFTERNOON and we need all hands on deck to stop it today!

The bill takes away all of the marijuana tax revenue money for conservation funding, cutting over $30 million from Habitat Montana, nongame wildlife programs, and parks and trails.

SB 307 was just scheduled for its first vote this afternoon at 3 p.m.

Montana Audubon and other conservation orgs have been fighting for consistent funding of these programs for decades, and this bill would undo all of that work.

We are asking everyone to please contact their Senator and tell them to VOTE NO on SB307 as long as it cuts conservation funding.

SB 307 would strip vital funding from programs like Habitat Montana, state parks, trails, and nongame wildlife conservation (more specifically, an estimated loss of $21 million for Habitat Montana and $12.6 million for other critical environmental programs over the next two years).
