URGENT ALERT
PLEASE HELP SAVE CITY OF ST. LOUIS ANIMAL CONTROL

The City of St. Louis has made Animal Control its lowest priority. Only ONE Animal Control officer remains in the Department to respond to countless requests for so many animals in need of help, food, rescue, and more.

Please contact the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Health and ask them to make Animal Control a priority.

The City of St. Louis Animal Control has been aware of this dog which has been effectively abandoned by her owner for several weeks. Yet, Animal Control has allowed this animal to remain trapped in this deserted home. This poor animal went 6 days without food until a good Samaritan started to bring food and water to the dog. She still remains imprisoned in these surroundings and only surviving on the good will of neighbors.

Even if you do not live in the City please reach out and let the Mayor and Director of Health know that this will affect your visits to the City for business and entertainment purposes.

The City receives dozens of calls per day and is unable to respond to even ten percent of the requests for animals in need. Most distressing, the people that call the City are not even informed that their complaint/request will likely NOT be investigated or addressed.

PLEASE CONTACT THE MAYOR AND HEALTH DIRECTOR ASAP!
