Dayforce Important Updates

To all HFHT Employees:


Now that we have been using Dayforce for a few weeks, some important details have come to light.

ACTIVITY REPORTING ROUND OFF:


Only use up to 2 decimals when submitting your activity reporting.


Using more than 2 decimals (i.e.: using 4 decimals to get to 10 minutes) can result in pay being off by small amounts. Please only use 2 decimals.

TIMESHEET CHANGES:


Timesheets will not be available to be edited/added to/modified after Thursday end of day, the week before we are paid, until the following Tuesday.


During this 4-day period, you will not have access to any Timesheet to make any modifications. When the Timesheet is locked, there is a large notification across the top prohibiting access.


This will allow for the Payroll validation process to take place to ensure there are no errors to your pay. 


If you have entries that were not made prior to being locked out of your Timesheet, they can be entered once the Timesheet has been re-opened.

ADD TO LIEU:


"Add to lieu" and/or "Committee" should be added as the last entry/entires of the day.


For example: You work through your lunch to attend a practice meeting.


Your hours look like this:

While you may have incurred lieu time in the middle of the day, Dayforce requires the additional hour worked to be added to the end of the work day.
