Volume 83 | October 2018

Welcome to the newly redesigned U.S. Baha'i News , a monthly newsletter featuring stories about people and their efforts to build vibrant spiritual communities, to contribute to society, and to bring a Baha'i perspective into their daily lives and professions.

This month we take a look at PIONEERS: from vignettes of those relocating to new neighborhoods in order to carry out Baha'i-inspired community building efforts to a story about an aerospace engineer preparing to relocate to a whole new planet. Come read about their adventures!

Please email to let the editorial team know if you have questions, comments or ideas for upcoming features. We'd love to hear from you. — Joyce Litoff, Editor

Baha’is of all ages are moving to city neighborhoods and small towns across the U.S. to initiate and sustain community-building efforts. Their service may include:

  • Reaching out to residents and having conversations on spiritual topics.

  • Hosting devotional gatherings.

  • Facilitating study circles, junior youth groups or children’s classes.

  • Visiting and accompanying others taking part in this movement.
