Adopt - A - Street
Commissioner Colbourne kicked off MLK Weekend with an annual day of service on Saturday, January 18. Over 100 volunteers took part in the day of service picking up litter, planting flowers along the parade route and painting a fence at a nearby church.
This event was in collaboration with the City’s Adopt A Street program, where students received community service hours for their participation. Commissioner Colbourne shared that “these projects would not have been possible without the help of the volunteers. I am very thankful for their service.”
