Proceeds of Benefit Concert fund rebuilding and recovery projects
Repairs of schools, rural health unit, construction of maternal health homes, livelihood assistance, shelter kits~these are some of the projects that were funded by the proceeds of the benefit concert. With partner organizations in the Philippines and the United States,including the Philippine Humanitarian Coalition (PHC), recovery initiatives in identified areas are now underway.

Peace Corps promotes volunteerism to Fil-Am Community At the Talakayan sa Pasuguan (townhall meeting co-sponsored by the US-Philippines Society) on 29 September, representatives from the US Peace Corps shared their experience and explained the application process to members of the Philippine diaspora who may want to volunteer for service in their country of origin.
