Cryptojacking has grown from a nuisance to a threat as hackers not only infiltrate corporate servers but stay there for long periods of time while sending data outwards. It's a serious breach and capital markets should recognize this attack and take active steps to guard against it.

The hedge fund industry is seeing an uptick in assets and fewer funds closed in 2018 than 2017, but only a portion of those funds posted positive returns. As hedge funds go, so goes prime brokerage and securities finance, making hedge fund growth and performance figures important to track.



As we complete our 2018 survey of institutional investors in securities lending, and having wrapped up our London client event last week, we have some further thoughts about the agency securities lending market. This is a good business but also one where we expect more big changes to occur in the next few years.
