WELCOME TO WORLD PUBLIC INTEREST JOURNALISM
Under Earth Constitution government, we are all world citizens with certain inalienable rights (Article 12, Bill of Rights for the Citizens of Earth). Israel would never have been allowed to steal Palestinian homes and lands, to establish an apartheid state, or to commit mass murder (genocide) by means of military violence and starvation.
The undemocratic UN Charter with its veto power granted to only five nations (Security Council), has blocked the UN from ending war or protecting human rights. There is no UN enforceable world law and as a result outlaw nations routinely violate and mock international law with impunity. Currently we see Israel with the help of the USA openly committing genocide in Gaza, while continuing to violently steal Palestinian lands and homes (eg, West Bank).
It's time for the UN General Assembly and the World Community to launch 109 Charter Review utilizing the Earth Constitution as its guide, model and authority for establishing an urgently needed "new UN". Earth Constitution government gives 187 nations meaningful voting rights for the first time, and provides a well thought out World Judiciary system with Enforcement. -- R. Kotila, PhD, editor

USA under control by Israel?
Toward the Abyss: Israel, Iran, and the Moral Collapse of the West
Mohamed El Mokhtar The Palestine Chronicle
The crisis is not only strategic — it is moral. The United States no longer acts out of calculation or fear, but out of a kind of reflexive obedience. Israel dictates; Washington complies.
EXCERPTS
There are truths that power refuses to acknowledge — even when they are glaring. The war against Iran has begun. As always, the United States is involved, either directly or by proxy, standing resolutely by Israel’s side and endorsing an escalation whose consequences are both unpredictable and potentially catastrophic. Neither international law, strategic prudence, nor the memory of the oppressed seems to restrain this commitment.
This turn toward confrontation, driven as much by Israeli panic as by American compliance, lays bare the West’s deeper moral fracture. On one side stand political elites captive to pro-Israel lobbies; on the other, a younger generation — including many Jews — increasingly outraged by the brutality in Gaza and the impunity of a state that claims every right and acknowledges no responsibility.
The dissent is no longer confined to the radical fringes. It cuts across traditional lines, drawing support from intellectuals, entrepreneurs, and public figures. Individuals like Jeffrey Sachs and the founder of Ben & Jerry’s have dared to break the silence to denounce what is increasingly perceived as a genocidal trajectory, carried out in plain sight, under the protection of a complacent international order.
By aligning unconditionally with Israel — a state waging a war of destruction in Gaza while provoking open conflict with Iran — the United States is not defending its strategic interests. It is abandoning them. ... READ MORE

'The World Sees You, Netanyahu': Iran Strikes as 'War of Distraction Amid Gaza Genocide'
Julia Conley Common Dreams

"This 'war' is an unprovoked, unilateral attack, a criminal act of aggression, and it is meant to distract the world from acting with regard to Israel's genocide," said one Israeli critic.
EXCERPTS
Israel has continued to block humanitarian aid from entering Gaza except at distribution sites run by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, which is staffed by U.S. security contractors. Gaza's Health Ministry said more than 400 Palestinians have been killed by Israel at GHF sites since they opened in late May; more than 55,000 people have been killed by Israeli forces since the IDF began bombarding Gaza in October 2023 in retaliation for a Hamas-led attack on southern Israel.
The International Committee of the Red Cross said this week that the "vast majority" of people who it's treated at its field hospital since the GHF sites began operating have been wounded while trying to access aid.
The BBC reported Saturday that "in almost all incidents," eyewitnesses have said the IDF opened fire; in some cases there have also been reports of "local armed gunmen" shooting at crowds of Palestinians.
U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) said Netanyahu may incorrectly "think no one will notice what he's doing in Gaza while he bombs Iran."

How AIPAC works to control the US Congress
Congressman Spills the Tea on AIPAC
The Young Turks YouTube interview
AIPAC stands for American Israel Public Affairs Committee which is a powerful pro-Israel lobbying group which controls Congress (and perhaps the President) with election cash (ie, legal bribery) and other means.
This Young Turks produced YouTube interview with Ana Kasparian features Congressman Thomas Massie (who explains that)... AIPAC has a "handler" assigned to each Congress person "like a baby sitter" who lobbies you about political issues of concern to Israel ... Evangelical Christians are manipulated to support Israel ... "these are the forces behind closed doors"

Pakistan Breaks Ranks, Backs Iran in War With Israel
F.M. Shakil The Cradle

Pakistan reveals that Israeli drone operators attempted to sabotage Pakistan's nuclear facilities during the India-Pakistan crisis in May. This is a major reason why Islamabad is throwing its full weight behind Tehran in the Israel-Iran war.
EXCERPTS
In the immediate aftermath, reports emerged of Pakistani military delegations arriving in Tehran amid the hostilities. Although swiftly denied by Islamabad, the timing and context fuel speculation of deeper collaboration. Similarly, Beijing reportedly greenlit the transfer of its BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) technology to Iran, formalized in a new bilateral MoU – an upgrade that dramatically enhanced the precision of Iranian missile strikes.
Though Pakistan continues to reject claims of missile transfers to Iran, its stance in recent days paints a different picture. On 16 June, members of the Iranian parliament chanted “Thank you, thank you Pakistan” following remarks by Pezeshkian, who praised Pakistan for standing by Iran. These developments fly in the face of Pakistan’s non-alignment rhetoric and indicate an ideological and strategic realignment by Islamabad.
Beijing’s embrace of Iran is grounded in energy security and strategic depth instead. Its ambitious, multi-trillion dollar Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) aimed at linking the Eurasian landmass hinges on the stability of Tehran and Islamabad, with the Gwadar and Chahbahar ports forming key arteries in China’s westward expansion.
China also supplies J-10 fighter jets and HQ‑9 air‑defense systems to Pakistan, which played key roles in the extraordinary May 2025 skirmish between India and Pakistan – marking major testing ground for Chinese weapons. A parallel circumstance is present in Iran. China must acknowledge Iran because it is a crucial supporter of China’s energy needs and trade operations. READ MORE

Iran Is Not Alone: This War Is a Historic Moment for the Global South to End Imperialism
Peiman Salehi Global Research

EXCERPTS
Several days have passed since the direct military confrontation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Israeli regime began, and it is already clear that this is not just another regional skirmish. What we are witnessing is not merely a missile exchange—it is a geopolitical inflection point that may well mark the beginning of the end of the US-led unipolar order.
Israel, in an astonishing strategic miscalculation, assumed it could treat Iran the way it has treated Syria, Iraq, or Gaza—using precision airstrikes, psychological warfare, and information control to force retreat. But Iran’s response was anything but predictable. ...
This war is not just about Iran; it is a defining moment for the Global South.
But the deeper significance of this moment lies in the test it poses to countries like China, Russia, Pakistan, South Africa, Venezuela, and others in the Global South. For years, these states have talked about creating a multipolar world, breaking free from American hegemony, and building a new international order. But if they remain passive or indifferent in this moment of global consequence, all of that rhetoric may collapse into irrelevance.
The Global South today is not the same as it was in the 20th century. These are not merely weak, aid-dependent nations. These are rising powers with significant economic and even military capabilities. China is the world’s second-largest economy. Russia is a major nuclear and military power. Iran has unmatched regional missile strength. Pakistan, Brazil, Indonesia, South Africa, and Türkiye—all of them are no longer on the sidelines of history. They are part of the emerging reality. Supporting genocide an unbearable shame for USA, have we become Nazi Germany?
Why Are Americans Letting Israel Starve Us to Death in Gaza?

US veto power at the UN is blocking Gaza’s chance for survival.
EXCERPTS
On June 17, 70 Palestinians were killed in a single day during the distribution of U.S.-Israeli aid in southern Gaza — specifically in Khan Younis and Rafah — under the same repeated justification: “protecting American troops.” That same morning, around 7 am, I was shaken by the screams of neighbors in my area of Rimal. We soon learned that a young man from the Shaqoura family had been killed while trying to collect a bag of flour for his family. Instead of returning home with food, he returned as a lifeless body. He was killed in the Zikim area in northern Gaza — what we call Al-Sudaniyya — a newly assigned point for aid distribution. But even there, the killings continue, as if death has become the price we must pay for hunger relief!
... Yet the world remains silent, watching this tragedy unfold without intervention. No one speaks of a full ceasefire, and no one breaks this staggering silence. Over 2 million Gazans are being suffocated — not just by bombs, but by a global silence that seems to wish for our demise. All we ask for is our right to live with dignity: to live on our land and eat from its blessings without fearing that food will cost us our blood.
Every time a glimmer of hope for a ceasefire appears, the U.S. veto drives a dagger straight through it coldly, casually. It kills the very decisions that might save our lives and offer us a moment to breathe. Because of this unjust veto power, the war has dragged on for over a year and a half — bleeding us dry and stealing the tears from our mothers’ eyes! READ MORE
