Recently, USAID launched the Advancing Protection and Care for Children in Adversity: A U.S. Government Strategy for International Assistance (APCCA) . APCCA is a five-year plan that outlines the U.S. Government’s commitment and approach to promote the development, care, dignity, and safety of the world’s most-vulnerable children and their families in support of our partner countries’ Journeys to Self-Reliance.  

Local and/or U.S.-based organizations, private voluntary organizations, non-governmental organizations, faith-based organizations, or universities are invited to submit a Concept Paper as a first step in a competitive process to support the achievement of the objectives established in the APCCA strategy, a total of $2,000,000 USD is available.
