We are officially three weeks away from the start of the conference! USASBE is thrilled to have you share your presentation with this broad group of entrepreneurship educators.

Prior to this notification, you should have received an email from the Bizzabo platform inviting you to the speaker’s portal.

You now have access to the backend of the Bizzabo platform where all of the conference presentations will take place during USASBE 2022: Pioneer and Persevere.
Speaker Portal Tutorial

Please set aside 15-minutes to watch this detailed walkthrough tutorial from Program Engagement Director, Brittani Garner, for more information on how to access the backstage of the portal, upload presentations, and other tips and tricks regarding the platform. Yes, it's 15 minutes, but it is better than a 30-minute Zoom call during the holidays.
Frequently Asked Questions

Should I access the speaker’s portal before my scheduled session?
It is advised that all speakers access their speaker's portal at a minimum of one week PRIOR to their session time to ensure the log-in is working and there are no issues in accessing the virtual room. Please view this Bizzabo Tutorial for instructions on how to access the platform and its capabilities.
Will there be a live training session for me to ask questions?
Yes! We are offering live training sessions during the following dates and times. Registration is required and can be done by clicking your date and time of choice. If the dates and times below do not work for your schedule, please contact Brittani Garner at bgarner@usasbe.org for an alternate time.
I am presenting virtually, should I pre-record my presentation?
We are encouraging virtual presenters to pre-record their session for the conference. This is not a requirement and if you choose to present synchronously, you are welcome to do so (it is riskier because you may experience network or technical issues at your location the day of). If you do choose to pre-record your presentation, you are still asked to attend the session live to answer questions and discuss with the participants. Please view this video from Conference Commission Chair, Jennifer Capps, as to why we are encouraging pre-recorded videos

Even More Frequently Asked Questions

I am participating in an emerging track. What are the expectations for the emerging tracks?
While participating in an emerging track you will not be asked to formally present. The emerging tracks allow for a small gathering of colleagues with similar projects to come together and discuss their projects and give each other feedback in a roundtable format.
How can I share my presentation materials with the participants?
If you have materials you would like to share with the participants, such as your slide deck, handouts, or other materials, please send them to Brittani Garner or Amy Rogers in an email to upload them to the session page for participants to download. Please be specific with the materials if you are presenting in more than one session.
