The Oregon Middle School Meet of Champions and the USATF Oregon Association are proud to announce the Meet of Champions will host the very first USATF Oregon Middle School Track & Field Championship meet.
The Meet of Champions is scheduled for May 15, 2026, at Corvallis High School.
Middle school age student athletes may enter this meet. A notice will be sent when registration for the Meet of Champions opens on Athletic.net. The number of entries is limited for each event so early registration is encouraged.
This partnership offers a meet within a meet. Athletes entered in the Meet of Champions will also have an opportunity to compete for the USATF Oregon Championship in their event and age group if they are USATF Oregon members.
"We are excited to have the Meet of Champions include the USATF Oregon Middle School Track & Field Championship. This will make the meet an even bigger event for young track athletes in Oregon," Coulter Rose, Meet of Champions Meet Director, said.
The Oregon Middle School Meet of Champions began 15 years ago and has grown into one of the state's largest and most competitive middle-school-only track and field meet.
USATF Oregon championship awards will be presented to the top three female and top three male finishers who are USATF members. Participants must be members of the USATF Oregon Association to be eligible. Go here to join USATF. A youth reduced-price membership is available. Contact membership@oregon.usatf.org for membership questions.
The USATF Oregon awards will be in addition to the Oregon Middle School Meet of Champions top three overall and age group awards.
“USATF Oregon is thrilled to announce its collaboration with the Oregon Middle School Meet of Champions in hosting our inaugural middle school championship meet. This event marks an exciting milestone for both organizations as they work together to provide a new platform for young athletes," Lynn Brown, USATF Oregon President, commented.
