The USATF Oregon Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships are scheduled for Saturday, November 14 at the Ash Creek Preserve at Western Oregon University, Monmouth, OR. Entries for the meet will be accepted starting at 9:00 a.m. on October 2 on Athletic.net.

This event is for athletes ages 7 to 18. The entry fee is only $10.00.

Competition is in two-year age groups at different distances:

• 2,000 meters, 8 and younger
• 3,000 meters, 9-10
• 3,000 meters, 11-12
• 4,000 meters, 13-14
• 5,000 meters, 15-16
• 5,000 meters, 17-18



Six-year-old athletes can compete as an exhibition athlete in this meet and in the USATF Region 13 JO Cross Country Championship but are not eligible to compete in the USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championship.

Athletes must be USATF members to compete in this meet and they must have their date-of-birth verified by USATF.
