USC School of Architecture has launched the Center for City Design as a platform for critical research and actionable design that addresses housing, climate, and economic precarity experienced by the vast majority of people living in urban regions around the world.
USC Master of Landscape Architecture + Urbanism students Andrea Binz and Diana Nightingale were selected for the 2022 Student Honor Award in Analysis and Planning by the American Society of Landscape Architects for their capstone project "Learning from Animal Adaptations to Wildfire".
The newly launched 1-year post-graduate program offers two concentrations focused on leveraging design research, innovation, and technology to tackle some of the most pressing issues in contemporary society: housing and sustainability.
The 63rd Annual USC Architectural Guild Dinner, Celebrating the Creatives, will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Warner Bros. in Burbank. This annual flagship event will bring together the largest representation of the creative industries, with attendees comprising leaders and disruptors, designers and builders, architects and artists from across the spectrum of architecture, design, construction, and engineering.
SPOTLIGHT
Amina Jambo, a 2017 graduate of the USC School of Architecture’s Master of Building Science program is a thoughtful designer, researcher, and scientist with over ten years of experience working alongside multidisciplinary teams to deliver simple, elegant, and evidence-based design solutions. She currently serves as a senior design researcher for IDEO.

Twelve new faculty members teaching in Architecture, Landscape Architecture & Urbanism, & Building Science presented their design research, professional practice, and creative practice in a casual, fast-paced Pecha Kucha style presentations that showcase the impact of their projects and research.
