Dean Donald Easton-Brooks chats with students before final exams.
Greetings,

With 2018 coming to a close, I have been reflecting on the outstanding accomplishments of students, faculty and staff over the past year.

Our students held leadership positions and participated in competitions at conferences like the Education Association Student Leadership Conference and the Sport Entertainment and Venues Tomorrow Conference. They founded new student organizations, joined honor societies, hosted winter clothing and food drives, managed athletic events, successfully defended dissertations and became published authors.

Our faculty and staff were invited to speak about their work on podcasts, television and radio. They published research, joined review boards, hosted gifted camps, received grants, spoke at conferences and inspired K-12 students at schools across the state.

We cannot possibly catalogue the entirety of our year in this monthly newsletter; however, a summary of 2018 reveals the consistent excellence of our community in the School of Education. We certainly have much to look forward to in 2019.
