Elemental: Art as Advocacy features the work of the four artists who comprise the Elemental Artists’ Collective: Charyl Weissbach, Patricia Gerkin, Donna Hamil Talman and Debra Claffey. Each artist has her own aesthetic, but they are united by their work with wax and an interest in using their artwork as a platform for environmental advocacy. www.mattmuseum.org

Julia Purdy

First Fridays at 46 Waltham Street


You're probably familiar with First Fridays at 450 Harrison Avenue where artists open their studios in the evening on the first Friday of every month. Now artists at 46 Waltham Street are also joining the fray and will be opening their studios from 5-9pm.

In person, circumstances permitting.
