The USF Health College of Nursing announced the launch of a new COVID-focused continuing education series designed to help nurses stay safe while treating patients during the pandemic. Read more

Less than a year into their research, several projects from the first round of USF's COVID-19 Rapid Response Seed Grant Program have advanced to create new technologies to detect and fight the virus. Read more

A University of South Florida College of Nursing collaboration with the university’s Student Health Services Medical Response Unit (MRU) is opening the doors for nursing students to join local pandemic response efforts by volunteering at a county-run COVID-19 testing site. Read more
The College of Nursing held two clinics over the past two weeks, allowing patient-facing students and faculty to get vaccinated through a convenient scheduling system. USF Health provided the vaccines allowing nursing to be the first college at USF to offer an organized in-house effort. Read more

County COVID Vaccine Site Now Open

State and county health officials have opened a COVID-19 vaccine site for health care workers who live or work in Hillsborough County.
