In collaboration with USF Alumni Association, the COPH Alumni Society hosted a virtual interest session for those ready to learn more about the society and take the next step to become involved as a volunteer leader.
June
Introduced the 2024-25 COPH Alumni Society board of directors: Brittney Blair, chair, Dr. Shabnam Mehra, VP, Aditi Desai, Kelly Maharaj, Farah Moulvi, Dan O’Neil, Natasha Blake and Dr. Jason Garcia.
July
Alumni met virtually and in person at the annual COPH Alumni Society Planning Retreat to brainstorm events and engagement opportunities.
COPH alumna Nina Naas hosted a Behind the Scenes event with Moffitt Cancer Center. The interactive program provided students with a special "behind the scenes" look at facilities and career paths featuring ten additional COPH alumni who joined Nina for the event.

Board members represented the society at the USF Alumni Academy and attended the Bulls Block Party on the following day!
COPHers enjoyed a fun night of bowling alongside family and friends. First drink and appetizers were provided byUSF Foundation.
October
In between hurricanes, COPHers (and family!) volunteered at Metropolitan Ministries for a fall service project.
Bulls and friends gathered for the college’s annual APHA reception. Attendees enjoyed appetizers and drinks while interacting with Deans Donna Petersen (former) and Sten Vermund (incoming).
November
The USF Foundation sponsored Homecoming appetizers and drinks at the Working Bulls Happy Hour for COPH alumni who work at USF.

40 for 40 Campaign
This campaign seeks 40 leadership donors to pledge at least $1,000 all at once or as a pledge payable over five years, in honor of the 40th Anniversary to support success for our students, faculty and research for the next 40 years. Donors will receive one complimentary ticket to the 40th ruby anniversary celebration in April.
