St. Louis Goes Green! Team Page and Results

We got 15th place out of 818 teams worldwide with 93 St. Louis Goes Green! team members. We came in just ahead of WashU Together who got 16th with 104 members. We earned 15,807 points by -- volunteering for 8 hours, spending over 12,000 minutes NOT in front of a screen, composting 108 pounds of waste, completing 3 advocacy actions, having 1,000 and 1 conversations with people, and contacting 3 public officials; saving 210 pounds of CO2, eating almost 500 meatless or vegan meals (28,000+ worldwide!), spending over 200 hours outdoors, picking up 500 pieces of litter, planting 169 trees, traveling 20 miles by foot, watching 3 documentaries, replacing up to 23 lightbulbs, preventing 37 pounds of food waste, saving almost 3,000 gallons of water, and spent over 2,000 minutes learning! You're pretty great St. Louis Goes Green!

Our Actions Speak. For Earth. "What a fun challenge that re-energized my green activities. I learned a lot and enjoyed watching our collective actions that help take care of the earth. I will do my best to keep going even though the challenge is over,"

said Art Lum of the St. Louis Goes Green! Earth Day Ecochallenge team on April 30, 2020. Thank you all so much for participating in this years challenge. Keep up the great work and although April 30th was the last day of the Ecochallenge, what ways will you continue to let your actions speak for Earth?
