April 2017 A Practical Resource for the USGN User
|
|
A lot has been made of a person’s first 100 days in a new position. If you are like me, you have had a few of these chapters in your business life. They bring a unique mix of exhilaration and exhaustion. Beyond the information overload, getting to know your new team and creating a chemistry is crucial. In fact, it is the backbone of the success of any organization. Since I joined USGN on January 23, I have learned quickly how much passion the team has for its customers and how much it believes in its cloud-based solutions. Most of you have met one or more of our team and can vouch for this. As the rookie on this team, I can as well. They are truly dedicated to each other and to you. I have also seen an increase in new companies who want demos of our solutions. Awareness of USGN is ramping up with new clients seeing first-hand what this means to their speed to market and bottom line. All of this is due to the team that Doug has developed. I trust that you will continue to see that our growth is a benefit to you as well. Finally, I cherish your feedback. Contrary to what most businesses think, silence is not golden. If you have a suggestion on how we can improve, please let me know. We believe we are the best at what we do. But we can be better with your help. My first 100 days will be complete at the end of April. And the next chapter will begin. But I already know how blessed I am to be part of an incredible mix of teammates and clients who drive each other to excellence every day.

Q Why USGN?
A “USGN customizes all the time. It’s the reason why we chose them in the first place. We shopped between USGN and 3-4 others and found USGN to be much less robotic.”
Q What is the typical size of a project, and how many do you manage at any given time?
A “Projects are very small. But there are 1,400 current projects, located from Florida to Japan. That’s why USGN’s responsiveness is so critical to our success.”
Q What features do you find most valuable?
A “Repository is crucial, especially for site pics. We also lean heavily on the timecard and mileage elements.”
Q How has USGN enabled you and Phoenix Telecom to be more successful?
A “Information passed along to different groups is essential. We are able to look at all information at any given time. I’m a big fan of the USGN group."
