Hello,
Welcome to USGN's third monthly newsletter. I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised that so many of you are taking the time to read it and follow through with us. We are only sending this newsletter to people who are already in our company's contact lists, meaning only people we know or people we want to get to know are getting it. Some of the people, after receiving the newsletter, have reached out to us to say that they hadn't talked to us in 15 years and were excited to reconnect and learn more about what we've been doing.
See, we started USGN almost 16 years ago. I still remember the early white boarding sessions in my office with Scott Wessels and Mike Leathers. Looking back today, I'm amazed by what we have built.
In a recent demo, a prospective customer was so impressed by our toolsets, functionality, and flexibility that I responded, "you can build a lot of great software in 16 years when you put your mind to it!"
Everyone at USGN is working hard getting ready for our four upcoming user conferences in October. If you visit our website you will be able to register today and you can find the locations and dates of each seminar below. If you would like to join us and network with fellow industry leaders, we'd love to have you!
Kindly,
Doug Sperr

Before Tracy Lindsey became a partner at Store Source Direct he worked for three major corporate retailers where USGN was used extensively.
Tracy's vision was to integrate USGN across all the business units that support new store development including Real Estate, Legal, Store Planning, Construction, FF&E, Operations and Marketing.
Doug Sperr met with Tracy at his office earlier this year for this interview. One thing that struck him was that each of the team members throughout the office had two computer monitors and at least one of the monitors was dedicated to running USGN. "I think that was when I realized how mission critical USGN apps were becoming the major corporate enterprises that we serve.

Customized dashboards can be used to provide visibility across all projects for a current view of project status plus work to be done. Thus you can easily manage multiple projects from a single location and ensure that tasks are completed on time. The USGN task dashboard includes:
- Simple, organized To-Do lists of actions across projects
- Easily act on tasks that are due or soon to be due
- Quickly identify tasks that are in danger of being delayed
- Efficiently organize your time with a simple list of work to be done
- Understand what activities need to be completed in specified timeframes (for example, next week, month, or quarter) so you never missed deadlines
- View the status of tasks that other stake holders are responsible for so you can be sure that no critical tasks fall through the cracks
- Have the ability to easily drill down to details before completing the required task
