The Coalition is led by our Executive Committee and headed by a distinguished, bipartisan group of former USDOT Secretaries including Ray LaHood and Anthony Foxx, along with transportation leader Rod Diridon.

Recently, the U.S. High Speed Rail Coalition helped deliver more than $6 billion in federal grants to the two leading true high speed rail projects advancing the U.S. high-speed rail industry. We secured the eligibility for high-speed rail projects for at least $12 billion in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, as well as $10 billion in a separate, dedicated high-speed rail program in the Build Back Better Act.
The Coalition’s advocacy helped deliver major funding for rail projects including the passage of $66 billion for passenger rail in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law - the single largest federal rail investment in U.S. history!
