Student Involvement Week
INVOLVEMENT WEEK is Going on Now!

This 100% virtual week is designed to help you get connected to student organizations and departments at USI. All week we will be featuring student organizations on our social media platforms (Instagram & Facebook). We also encourage incoming students to try our involvement calculator. The calculator works like an online quiz and gives you some clubs and organizations you might be interested in.

Come check out and interact with student organizations at USI through our Flipgrid event.

Input your habits in our Involvement Calculator and see what involvement opportunities await you! These are just suggestions, but they may lead to lifelong friendships. Our office will follow up with you after your results are shared.

If you could be a fictional character, who would you be?
I would most likely be like Scooby Doo because he loves snacks and is frightened by scary things sometimes, just like me!

Why did you choose USI?
Being from Evansville I never thought I would attend a university in my hometown. I always thought I wanted to go away for college. I toured other universities but none of them ever stood out to me. I couldn’t picture myself for four years at any of them. My mind kept going back to USI’s campus. I loved the way campus was laid out and the feel of being away from home but also not actually being away. What stuck out to me was how friendly everyone was and the smiling faces around campus. The nice and roomy residence halls were a plus for me as well. I knew USI was for me when I could picture myself being there for four years and I haven’t regretted my decision one bit!

What is your favorite memory from USI?
My favorite memory from the past year at USI has been meeting new lifelong friends and being involved with amazing organizations. Being from Evansville, I knew quite a few people going to USI and made a promise to myself to meet new people. Getting involved has helped me keep that promise. There are so many organizations on campus to get involved with, there truly is something for everyone. Don’t be afraid to get involved! Go Screagles!
