As part of the Australian Government’s existing Indo-Pacific Regulatory Strengthening Program, the Regulatory Laboratory Capacity Strengthening Program will help local labs to accurately and reliably test the quality of medicines and sustainably strengthen regional quality assurance systems.

Final Program Report: Promoting the Quality of Medicines
Between 2009 and 2020, USAID’s Promoting the Quality of Medicines (PQM) program improved access to quality-assured medical products in more than 40 countries. The program strengthened the capacity of more than 90 quality control laboratories and supported more than 45 manufacturers to produce quality medicines.
