Beginner Canasta Classes
5 sessions on Mondays, Jan. 13th–Feb.10th @ 6:30–8:30 pm
Canasta is back and enjoying a renewed interest with people of all ages. Join instructor Andrea Hershan and learn this easy to understand yet challenging card game. No prior experience is needed. Limited to 16 players. In-person registration only, $10 fee for canasta booklet.
21 Ways to Turn Your Treasures ( and Junk ) into Cash!

Have you accumulated a lot of “stuff” that you and your children just don’t want? Best Practices for Smartphone Photography

The Rhythm of Self-Care Drumming Circle
Tuesday, January 28th @ 7–8 pm
Come and explore a new/old way of having fun while reducing stress with instructor Kathy Newberg. Drumming is a wonderful way to take care of yourself as well as lessen feelings of burn-out and fatigue. Feel empowered! Drumming is also proven to boost the immune system. No musical experience is needed and instruments will be provided. Register
Backstories to "The Lore of Upper Saddle River"
Thursday, January 30th @ 1–2 pm
It’s been 25 years since "The Lore of Upper Saddle River" was published and a lot has happened since then. New stories and new photos have been discovered. Author Bill Yeomans will bring us back to times past with a slide presentation. Books will be available for purchase. Register
Tech Fridays

Do you know a local adult who is having trouble with their email? Or difficulty downloading to their laptop, iPad, Kindle or mobile device? High school students will be available for tech help on Fridays from 3:30–4:40 pm. Please call the library at 201-327-2583 or stop in to reserve a 30 minute time slot.

Drop-in and join other Scrabble enthusiasts and pit your wits against fellow word lovers. This classic word game is a fun challenge for everyone, from beginners to masters, and a great way to meet other library patrons and make new friends.
