Baker Hughes Inks Service Contract with Saudi Aramco

Rigzone.com, December 5, 2018: Baker Hughes, a GE company (BHGE) has landed a three-year contract with Saudi Aramco for stimulation and well testing, the company announced Dec. 4. The contract, which includes the option of two one-year extensions, will involve BHGE optimizing production from new and existing wells in Saudi Arabia. Services to be provided are made up of cased-hole wireline logging, perforation, well testing, stimulation, fracturing and other intervention services.  Read more...
Lukoil and KazMunayGas establish a consortium on Zhenis project in the Caspian

Euro-petrole.com, December 5, 2018: President of  PJSC LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and Chairman of the Management Board of JSC NC KazMunayGas Alik Aidarbayev signed agreements on joint cooperation and financing of the Zhenis project in the Kazakhstan's sector of the Caspian Sea. The documents set the terms of the block's development.  The next step will be the negotiations with the competent authority of the Republic of Kazakhstan to qualify for the exploration and production at the block.  Read more...

Rosterminalugol exported 18.5 million tonnes of coal in 11M'18

En.portnews.ru, December 4, 2018: AO Rosterminalugol, operator of Russia's largest dedicated coal port (run by OOO Port Management Company, PMC LLC) says it has shipped 18.5 million tonnes of export coal in January-November 2018. From the beginning of the company handled 266 vessels (including 22 vessels handled in November) with average shipload of 69,428 tonnes (91,518 tonnes in November). In the 11-months period, the terminal unloaded 255,673 railcars with 18.3 million tonnes of coal (20,363 railcars with 1.45 million tonnes of coal unloaded in November).  Read more...
Russia-Saudi Fund to ınvest $2bln in Russia in 2019

Azernews.az, December 2, 2018: Around $2 billion worth of funds from a Russian-Saudi foundation will be invested in Russia in 2019, the chief executive of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, a sovereign wealth fund, said Saturday. "We plan to increase investment in Russia by the joint Russian-Saudi fund by an extra $2 billion next year," Kirill Dmitriev told reporters on the margins of the G20 Summit in Buenos Aires.  Read more...
Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan, Iran agree on IT venture

Dailysabah.com, December 4, 2018: Ankara, Moscow, Baku and Tehran will establish a joint venture on information technologies, Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Cahit Turhan said yesterday. "The four countries have decided to form a joint venture to facilitate closer working opportunities of the public and private sector institutions operating in the field of information technologies and to open up opportunities for them," Turhan said. His remarks came at the four-way ministerial meeting between Azerbaijan-Russia-Turkey-Iran in Azerbaijan's capital Baku.  Read more...
Russia To Help India In 2022 Space Mission: Russian Envoy

Ndtv.com, December 3, 2018: As Russia and India prepare to collaborate for Gaganyaan, India's man mission to space, its envoy Nikolay Kudashev said Monday the probability of Indian astronauts getting trained in his country are very high. He said Russia will cooperate with India in the development of the rocket launcher for the project, the safety measures of the crew, communication and the preparation of the cosmonauts for the flight. He hoped Russia's "extremely rich" experience in this mission will benefit India.  Read more...
Russia and Rwanda to cooperate in nuclear power

World-nuclear-news.org, December 5, 2018: Russia and Rwanda have signed an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes. It was signed today in Moscow by Alexey Likhachov, director general of Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom, and Claver Gatete, Rwandan minister of infrastructure. Rosatom said the intergovernmental agreement builds on the Memorandum of Understanding Rosatom and Rwanda's Ministry of Infrastructure signed on 22 June, and that it will serve as a starting point for active dialogue between the two countries in the nuclear sector, enabling practical implementation of specific cooperation projects.  Read more...

Bala Venkatesh Varma said. "Investments and bilateral trade is increasing. We have a trade of more than $10 billion, but it is well below potential and we intend to increase it. Urdupoint.com, December 4, 2018: Cooperation between Greek and  Russian businesses is growing with  Moscow's increasing interest in investing in the south Mediterranean country, head of the Greek-Russian Trade  Chamber Dimitris Bakolas told Sputnik on Tuesday. "The interest of  Russian businesses in  Greece, as an opportunity for cooperation, has recently revived. Particularly, I was asked by  Russian Railways and several private companies to help with  business. Azernews.az, December 7, 2018: A meeting of the railway administrations' heads of Uzbekistan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan and Pakistan was held in Tashkent on December 3-4, Uzbek media reports. The agenda included a topical issue, the importance and significance of which, without exaggeration, can be called historical - the implementation of the project to build the Mazar-i-Sharif-Kabul-Peshawar railway line. Russia's Wheat Export Surges 19.3% Year-on-Year Between July-Nov 29

Rosatom forecasts NSR cargo traffic to grow by 60pct in 2019

Steelguru.com, December 7, 2018: Cargo traffic on the Northern Sea Route (NSR) in 2019 is forecasted to grow by 60%, year-on-year, to 29 million tonnes, IAA PortNews correspondent cites Maxim Kulinko, deputy head of the Northern Sea Route Directorate - head of Rosatom's Department for Development of NSR and Costal Territories, as saying at the VIII International Forum "Arctic: Today and the Future". Maxim Kulinko explained that Yamal projects cargo will total about 18 million tonnes, crude oil from Novoportovskoye field - 8.5 million tonnes, Nornickel cargo - 1.5 million tonnes.  Read more...

Tyumen to host youth conference on text interpretation in mid-December

Russia to implement two projects for $1.8M in Uzbekistan, more may come

En.trend.az, December 3, 2018: Russia is implementing two grant projects in Uzbekistan - "Improving adaptation and increasing the sustainability of agriculture in the Fergana Valley of Uzbekistan to the risks caused by climate change" with a total budget of $800,000 and "Promoting youth employment in Uzbekistan" for $1 million, Uzbek media reported. The new projects were approved during the meeting of the Russia - United Nations Development Program Trust Fund Steering Committee on Nov. 19 in Moscow.  Read more...

Татарстан может принять саммит ШОС в 2020 году
