Shell Extends Jackup Contract in Trinidad
Rigzone.com, January 2, 2019: Shell has extended its contract for the Rowan Gorilla VI jackup in Trinidad, Rowan Companies plc reported Wednesday. According to Rowan, the Super Gorilla class jackup will continue its current drilling program until approximately March of this year. Afterward, the rig will be used for platform support and accommodations work until approximately November 2019, the company noted. Shell will also have an option to extend the work further until November 2019, Rowan also stated.

Russian oil output reaches record high in 2018
Reuters.com, January 2, 2019: Russian oil production rose to a post-Soviet record high of 11.16 million barrels per day (bpd) last year on an annual average basis, data from its energy ministry showed on Wednesday. The total surpassed the previous annual record average of 10.98 million bpd set in 2017. Russian oil output reached 555.838 million tonnes last year, against 547 million tonnes in 2017. Reuters uses a barrels-to-tonnes ratio of 7.33 to 1.

Russia's coal production up 5.9% to 433.4 mln tonnes in 2018 - CDU TEK
Tass.com, January 3, 2019: Coal production in Russia in 2018 increased by 5.9% year-on-year to 433.4 mln tonnes, according to the Central Dispatching Department of Fuel Energy Complex (CDU TEK). Coal exports rose by 2.6% to 191 mln tonnes in the reporting period. Deliveries of Russian coal to the domestic market rose by 4.3% to 372.3 mln tonnes in the last year. Coal imports dropped by 6.3% to 21.7 mln tonnes in 2018.

Final talks with Eurasian Union next week
B92.net, January 3, 2019: The final free trade talks with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will begin next week. Serbian Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic announced this on Thursday, Tanjug is reporting. Ljajic told TV PINK that he expected a free trade agreement with Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan to be concluded before Russian President Vladimir Putin's January 17 visit to Serbia.

India to host GLONASS ground station for Russia

World experts to discuss IT technologies at CEBIT Russia in Skolkovo June 25-27, 2019

The organizers have changed the format of the event to hold it in mid-summer. This will allow for holding some events outdoors," the news release says. CEBIT is one of the world's oldest and largest telecommunications exhibitions. Originally the company Deutsche Messe AG held it in Hannover each spring. Russia's Rosatom completes training courses in 2018 for Indian engineers

Russia embracing seafood festivals to encourage domestic consumption

Kazakhstan introducing e-visas for foreigners

imesca.com, January 3, 2019: Kazakhstan is introducing a procedure for obtaining a single entry visa for foreigners in electronic format from January 1, 2019, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry said. An electronic visa (business, tourist and medical treatment) is issued based on a valid invitation from the Kazakh side, considered by the migration service units of the Ministry of Interior of Kazakhstan under the established procedure. Foreigners can enter/exit the territory of Kazakhstan using a valid electronic visa only through the checkpoints of international airports of Astana and Almaty.

Residents of Azerbaijan's High-Tech Park may get additional benefits
Azernews.az, January 3, 2019: New tax and customs benefits may be offered to residents of the High-Tech Park of Azerbaijan's National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), a source in the High-Tech Park told Trend. Proposals for amending relevant legal regulation have already been prepared, according to the source. "The main goal is to create more investment-attractive environment in the High-Tech Park," the source noted. "The prepared proposals will be submitted to the appropriate authorities, and we hope that they will be reflected in the tax and customs code."

News.ru, 2 января, 2019: Экспорт нефти из России в страны дальнего зарубежья составил в 2018 году 239,64 млн т, что на 0,3% выше, чем в 2017 году. Об этом сообщает ФГБУ «Центральное диспетчерское управление топливно-энергетического комплекса» (ЦДУ ТЭК). Среднесуточный экспорт зафиксирован на уровне 4,81 млн баррелей. Всего в 2018 году по системе нефтепроводов АК «Транснефть» из России в дальнее зарубежье было экспортировано 213,12 млн тонн нефтяного сырья, в том числе 194,57 млн т - российские ресурсы. Россия нарастила экспорт зерна в первой половине сельхозгода

Татарстан стал пятым среди регионов России по объему рынка коммерческих авто
Kazved.ru, 2 января, 2019: По итогам января - ноября 2018 года Татарстан занял пятое место среди регионов России по объему рынка новых легких коммерческих автомобилей (LCV). Всего в республике продали 3 тыс. 178 машин, сообщает аналитическое агентство «Автостат». Возглавила рейтинг Москва, где было продано 15 тыс. 319 легких коммерческих авто. Второе место заняла Московская область с 9 тыс. 799 проданными машинами, а третьим стал Санкт-Петербург с 6 тыс. 682 авто. На четвертом месте оказался Краснодарский край, где реализовали 3 тыс. 864 LCV.

Экспорт российского молока вырос в два раза
Agronews.com, 3 января, 2019: К концу 2018 года экспорт молока и молочной продукции составил порядка 135,2 тыс. тонн. Экспорт продукции в 2017 году составил 71,3 тыс. тонн. Исходя из этого, поставки молока и молочной продукции выросли на 89,6%. По состоянию на декабрь 2018 года, объем экспорта молочной продукции составил 135 197 тонн, пояснили специалисты Россельхознадзора.

Добыча нефти в России в 2018 году выросла на 1,6%
Tass.ru, 2 января, 2019: Добыча нефти и газового конденсата в России увеличилась в 2018 году на 1,6% - до 555,837 млн т, следует из данных Центрального диспетчерского управления топливно-энергетического комплекса (ЦДУ ТЭК) в среду. В декабре добыча выросла на 4,5% - до 48,4 млн т. Согласно данным по международным стандартам финансовой отчетности (МСФО), "Роснефть" в 2018 году увеличила добычу нефти на 2,6% - до 216,3 млн т (в декабре - на 5%, до 18,8 млн т). Добыча "Лукойла" за год подросла на 0,2% - до 82,4 млн т (в декабре - на 2,4%, до 7,1 млн т). "Сургутнефтегаз" в 2018 году добыл 60,9 млн тонн, рост составил 0,6% (в декабре добыча выросла на 2,5% - до 5,2 млн тонн). "Газпром нефть" в 2018 году добыла 60,2 млн т, рост составил 0,1% (в декабре добыча выросла на 2,7% - до 5 млн т).
