USRCC Business Networking Event

On January 24, 2019 the U.S.-Russia Chamber of Commerce ("USRCC") hosted a Business Networking Event at The West End - A Public House, Houston, TX. The event gathered more than 70 business professionals from various industries, including Oil & Gas, Healthcare, Logistics, Banking, Real Estate, and many others. Representatives of such companies like ExxonMobil,  ConocoPhillips, Tenaris, TMK IPSCO, Ethos Energy, Fieldwood Energy, Moody Rambin, Element Americas, NDT Global, Port of Rotterdam, Turkish Airlines, LUKOIL, Parsons Corporation, and many others have attended the event.  New  connections and partnerships with USRCC members and guests were made during the evening.




During the event the audience was greeted by the USRCC leadership and the reception attendees were provided with the information about the 2019 events and encouraged everyone to participate and support  the USRCC's effort to promote trade and investment between Russia, CIS and the U.S.  

A fterwords, attendees received a warm welcome from Viacheslav, Levchik, Vice Consul, Consulate General of the Russian Federation who emphasized the importance of the U.S. - Russia business relations as well as the importance of the USRCC's work.

Finally, the USRCC has welcomed its newest member - Turkish Airlines. Mr. Ken Bhappu, Regional Corporate Sales Manager, greeted the audience on behalf of the company and provided short overview of Turkish Airlines Corporate Club program and its benefits and provided the list of destinations in Russia that are currently a part of the Turkish Airlines network.

Trade Mission to Moscow and St. Petersburg Economic Forum
June 2-8, 2019

The U.S.-Russia Chamber of Commerce (USRCC) invites you to participate in a Trade mission to the    St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Exxon Mobil, REG Partner With Clariant To Advance Cellulosic Biofuel Research

Oilandgasinvestor.com, January 23, 2019: Exxon Mobil Corp. (NYSE:  XOM) and Renewable Energy Group (REG) said Jan. 23 that they have signed a joint research agreement with Clariant to evaluate the potential use of cellulosic sugars from sources such as agricultural waste and residues to produce biofuel, which has the potential to play a role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The new partnership expands a previously announced agreement for joint research between Exxon Mobil and REG, in which the companies successfully validated the ability of REG Life Sciences bio-conversion technology to convert sugars from cellulosic biomass into biodiesel through a single-step process.  Read more...
ASTM International to host workshop on metal powder characterisation

Pm-review.com, January 23, 2019: The ASTM International committee on metal powders and metal powder products (B09) is holding a workshop on powder characterisation in Fernandina Beach, Florida, USA, on April 16, 2019. Taking place at the Hampton Inn & Suites Amelia Island Historic Harbor Front, the workshop will run in conjunction with the standards development meetings of the ASTM committee. Workshop organiser and ASTM International member W. Russia offers scholarships in nuclear engineering to Indians

Analyst: AI Gives New Impetus for China-Russia Ties

Buta Airways announces new destination in Russia

Azernews.az, January 22, 2019: Azerbaijan's low-cost airline Buta Airways announced another new destination in Russia. Starting from May 12, the Airline will launch direct flights from Baku to Ufa. Turkmen oil exports via Russia's Novorossiisk port to resume next month-Sources 

Af.reuters.com, January 22, 2019: Exports of Turkmen oil via Russia's Black sea port of Novorossiisk will resume in February, four market sources said. Turkmenistan stopped transit of its oil via Russia in 2016 and has been exporting all its crude via the Azeri Caspian port of Baku. Pumping Turkmen oil through the Makhachkala-Novorossiisk pipeline could add as much as 200,000 tonnes of crude per month into Russia's Transneft system.  Read more...

Минниханов и Бартли запустили в Казани кнопку обратного отсчета времени до WorldSkills-2019
