The companies currently included in this collaboration are Aramco Services Company, BASF, ConocoPhillips Company, The Dow Chemical Company, ExxonMobil Research and Engineering Company, Georgia-Pacific LLC and Linde PLC. Advances in computer hardware, software, networking and security, coupled with increasing global competition and cybersecurity risks, have driven the process industry to consider ways to update the design and maintenance of process automation systems, which serve as the eyes and ears inside industrial manufacturing facilities.

Gazprom expects Denmark to approve Nord Stream 2 route in October: RIA
Reuters.com, July 18, 2019: Russian gas producer Gazprom expects Denmark to agree to its route application for the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline to Germany in October, RIA news agency cited Gazprom's Chairman Viktor Zubkov as saying on Thursday. Gazprom hopes to finish the gas pipeline project to Germany by the end of this year, but it has had delays in obtaining permits from Denmark.

World's first cross-border cableway to boost China-Russia ties
Ecns.cn, July 19, 2019: Construction of the world's first cross-border cableway kicked off at the China-Russia border on Thursday, marking new progress in infrastructure connectivity between the two countries and bringing much convenience to customs clearance. The cableway spanning the Heilongjiang River, also known as the Amur River, will link Daheihe Island in Heihe City with the Russian city of Blagoveshchensk. The cableway will be 972 meters long and allow two-way traffic, with cable coaches each capable of carrying 80 people at a speed of seven meters per second. The cableway is designed to have a transport capacity of 6 million people annually. The time for a single-way border crossing will be shortened to less than 10 minutes.

India could sign LEMOA-like logistics agreement with Russia during PM Narendra Modi's Vladivostok visit
Timesnownews.com, July 15, 2019: India signed the LEMOA or the Logistics Exchange Memorandum of Agreement with the United States in August 2016. A similar agreement with Russia is likely in the next two months. The Reciprocal Logistics Support Agreement (RLSA) is being readied and could happen in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is expected to be in Vladivostok for the East Asia Summit in September. The RLSA will be a tri-service agreement, meaning that the Russians could not only use ports like Mumbai and Vishakhapatnam for refuelling but also, airports after the agreement is signed. India, of course, could do the same, when it came to Russian ports and airbases. Interestingly, global warming makes the signing of the agreement with Russia, one of India's closest defence allies, more imperative.

interest in the charter capital of Poliom LLC, owned by the Titan Group.Following the completion of all corporate and registration procedures, Sibgazpolymer JSC has become the sole participant in Poliom LLC, which will be managed jointly by Gazprom Neft and SIBUR.

Russian government approves construction of Novatek's LNG terminal in Murmansk
Tass.com, July 19, 2019: Russia's Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev approved plans to build Novatek's marine LNG transshipment complex in the Murmansk Region. The new terminal's capacity would be more than 20 million tonnes a year. The document is posted on the official portal of legal information. Construction of the marine transshipment complex for liquefied natural gas in the Murmansk Region is one of the projects to transship LNG at Russian marine ports along the Northern Sea Route.

Russia unveils draft strategy to build out grain sector
World-grain.com, July 17, 2019: The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation has put forth a long-term strategy that could ramp up investment in the country's grain sector by investing billions of dollars in infrastructure and logistics. The plan, which would cost more than 4.4 trillion rubles ($70 billion), would draw on funds from private investors, loans and targeted financing. According to the Agriculture Ministry, Russia's baseline scenario for its grain crop is 140 million tonnes by 2035, with the possibility of production rising as high as 150.3 million tonnes. The higher output totals would allow Russia to potentially export as much as 63.6 million tonnes by 2035, the agency said. By comparison, Russia's grain crop in 2019-20 is forecast at 118 million tonnes, with exports at 45 million tonnes.

Belarus signs cooperation agreements with three Russian regions
Eng.belta.by, July 18, 2019: A package of cooperation agreements in trade, economy, science and technology, culture and social matters has been signed between the government of Belarus and the governments of Ingushetia and Saratov Oblast and the administration of Smolensk Oblast at a plenary session of the 6th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, BelTA has learned. On behalf of Belarus the agreements were signed by Deputy Premier Igor Petrishenko. Apart from that, sci-tech cooperation agreements were signed between the academies of sciences of the two states, Saint Petersburg Mining University, the International Center for Mining Technology Education Competence and BelAZ.

Roscosmos Launches Advanced Spektr-RG Telescope As Russia Aims to Expand Its Space Powers
Newsweek.com, July 18, 2019: Russia has launched an advanced X-ray telescope into space as part of six-and-a-half-year mission expected to map around 100,000 galaxy clusters-the largest known gravitationally bound structures in the universe-and three million supermassive black holes. Known as Spektr-RG, the observatory-which was jointly developed by the Russian space agency Roscosmos and Germany-is a replacement for its predecessor Spektr-R, which operators lost control over earlier this year. The new observatory-which weighs more than 3 tons-took off aboard a Proton-M rocket from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on Saturday, AFP reported. Spektr-RG is now moving towards its final destination-a point 900,000 miles above our planet-which it will reach in around three months.

Russian oil giant expands its presence in Uzbekistan
Azernews.az, July 18, 2019: Russia's Tatneft company expanded the list of regions of its presence by opening petrol stations in Uzbekistan. The grand opening of the Tatneft gas station took place in the Orta Chirchiq district of the Tashkent region. By the end of 2020, the company is expected to create a network of 22 gas stations in Uzbekistan. Tatneft is one of the largest Russian oil companies today and is an internationally recognized vertically integrated holding. The industrial complex of the company includes steadily developing enterprises of crude oil and gas production, petroleum refining, petrochemicals production, the tire-manufacturing complex, network of filling stations and services.

Belarus invited to participate in metro, tram, railway service modernization projects in Egypt

Production of yarn grows in Azerbaijan
En.trend.az, July 18, 2019: In January-June 2019, the total value of footwear, clothing, yarn and leather goods produced in Azerbaijan amounted to 233.3 million manats, which is 18.8 percent more than in the previous year,
Trend reports referring to the country's State Statistical Committee. Clothes production increased by 3.3 percent and reached 59.1 million manats, the production of leather goods and footwear grew by 2 percent and amounted to 9.2 million manats, and the production of yarn increased by 51.2 percent to 198.1 million manats in January-June 2019.

«Тюменнефтегаз» на 8 % увеличил запасы Русского месторождения по российской классификации
Fedpress.ru, 16 июля, 2019: «Тюменнефтегаз», добывающее предприятие НК «Роснефть», по итогам геологоразведочных работ нарастил нефтяные запасы Русского месторождения на 8 % по категории АВ1. Увеличение углеводородного потенциала проекта стало возможно благодаря проведению сейсморазведочных работ методом 3D, бурению трех поисково-разведочных и 164 эксплуатационных скважин. На основании всех полученных данных, специалисты предприятия и Тюменского нефтяного научного центра уточнили трехмерную геологическую модель Русского месторождения, определили стратегию его дальнейшего изучения и бурения разведочных скважин в краевых зонах месторождения.

Россия и Белоруссия обсудили создание особых экономических зон на границе

"У нас пока нет трансграничных проектов. К сожалению, получается так, что те же юго-восточные районы Могилевской области, западные или юго-западные Брянской области имеют экономический потенциал, (которого) недостаточно. Мы обговаривали вопросы, чтобы, может быть, сделать зоны особого экономического развития... чтобы это был действительно такой трансграничный проект, который работает и на российский регион, и на белорусский", - заявил Мясникович на пресс-конференции по итогам VI Форума регионов России и Белоруссии.

Минниханов: «За время моей работы запасы нефти в Татарстане выросли до 900 млн тонн»
