Shell Makes Significant Find Offshore Australia

hell Australia has announced a "significant" gas and condensate discovery in the Browse Basin off the North West Coast of Western Australia.
The find was made through the Bratwurst-1 exploration well, which was said to be successfully concluded after a 78-day campaign. The discovery is located 99 miles north east of the Shell operated Prelude FLNG facility and presents an opportunity for a future tie-back to Prelude, according to Shell.
No figures were released in connection with the discovery, but it was said to support Shell's growth plans for "more and cleaner energy, with LNG being the predominant focus for Shell in Australia".

Exxonmobil discovers oil offshore Guyana at Mako -1 Well

ExxonMobil (NYSE:XOM) said today it made an oil discovery offshore Guyana at the Mako-1 well southeast of the Liza field, marking the 15th discovery on the Stabroek Block. The discovery adds to the previously announced estimated recoverable resource of more than 6 billion oil-equivalent barrels on the Stabroek Block. Mako-1 encountered approximately 164 feet (50 meters) of a high-quality oil bearing sandstone reservoir. Mako-1, drilled in 5,315 feet (1,620 meters) of water, is located.

Russia to produce 555-560 million tonnes of oil annually by 2024 - energy ministry
Tass.com, December 26, 2019: Russia plans to maintain oil production at the level of 555-560 mln tonnes per year by 2024, approximately at the level of 2018 (555.9 mln tonnes), according to the draft Russian Energy Strategy posted on the website of the Energy Ministry.Oil production can be in the range of 490-555 mln tonnes per year by 2034, depending on the market situation, the draft strategy says.

Nord Stream 2 will be launched before the end of the year

Gazprom to finish talks on financing of Amur gas refinery 2019

Russian gas giant Gazprom plans to finish talks with potential creditors on project financing of the Amur gas refinery at the end of 2019, Deputy CEO Famil Sadygov told the company's corporate magazine in an interview released on Friday.
"Presently, various terms of project financing are being negotiated with the potential creditors of the Amur gas refinery. The planned deadline to complete the negotiations is the end of 2019.The target level of borrowed financing is 70%, and own investment will come to 30%," he said.

Russian agricultural exports could exceed $24 billion in 2019, Russian President Vladimir Putin said. "Agricultural exports, and not only farm produce but also high value-added products, could exceed $24 billion for the year," he said at a meeting of the State Agrarian Policy Council.
"You know we are setting ourselves the goal of reaching $45 billion by 2024 - and this is quite a feasible task," the president said.
Exports in 2019 could reach $25 billion, while the plan for the year had called for $24 billion, Agriculture Minister Dmitry Patrushev said.
In 2018, Russia exported $25.8 billion in agricultural goods, in 2017 - $20.7 billion.
