Russia Fully Fulfills Obligations under Oil Production Cut Deal in August, Says Minister
Tass.com, August 19, 2020: Russia complies by 100% with its commitments under the OPEC+ deal in August, Energy Minister Alexander Novak said in an interview with Rossiya-24 television on Wednesday. "We are at a high level. In July, we fulfilled 97% of our level. This is a high figure for us. We have attained 100% in August. Russia on Track to Have One of its Largest-ever Grain Harvests
Rt.com, August 17, 2020: Grain production in Russia is expected to reach an all-time high this year, according to the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), with wheat production reaching 78 million tons. The USDA has raised its July forecast by 1.5 million tons (excluding Crimea), saying that Russian wheat exports are also expected to rise by another 1.5 million tons this year, to 37.5 million. FEZ Minsk Raises over $118m in Foreign Investment in H1 2020
Eng.belta.by, August 20, 2020: In January-June 2020 the free economic zone Minsk received more than $118 million in foreign investment, of which 85% was direct foreign investment, BelTA learned from the FEZ Minsk administration. Foreign direct investment on a net basis amounted to $69.4 million, a 76% increase over the same period in 2019. Switzerland, Cyprus and China were the key investors.
