Aeroflot to Receive 70 Billion Rubles in Subsidies, September 3, 2020: Aeroflot Group has obtained state guarantees to enable it to secure two loans totaling 70 billion rubles ($940 million), and has also received a subsidy worth 7.9 billion rubles, Flight Global reported. The Russian operator has turned in a net loss of 58.3 billion rubles for the first six months of the year, under international accounting standards, after revenues more than halved to 149 billion rubles. Russian Economy’s Dependence on Oil and Gas Revenues Declining Gradually, Says Kremlin, September 2, 2020: The dependence of the Russian economy on oil and gas revenues is falling gradually, though not so fast as one would wish, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Wednesday when asked to comment on the statement by the country's President Vladimir Putin that Russia is not a "gas station country." Russia Upgrades Economic Outlook on Strong Data, August 31, 2020: The Russian government expects the coronavirus to inflict significantly less damage on the country’s economy than it first feared. The Economy Ministry is now predicting GDP will fall by 3.9% in 2020, up from its previous forecast of a 5% contraction, Kommersant reported Monday. Russia’s economy has not taken as big a hit from the pandemic as other European economies, recording a contraction of 8.5% in the second quarter of the year, according to official statistics. Russian Government to Allocate $163.4 mln to Support Small IT Companies, September 1, 2020: The Russian government will allocate about 12 bln rubles ($163,4 mln) during four coming years to support small IT companies, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said on Tuesday. Минфин Готовится Внести Проект об НДД в Правительство, Сентябрь 3, 2020: Минфин готовится в ближайшие дни внести законопроект о корректировке налога на дополнительный доход в правительство, рассказали источники “Ъ”. С его помощью министерство хочет дополнительно изъять из нефтяной отрасли 200 млрд руб. за счет повышения налоговой нагрузки. Бюджет России Может Дополнительно Получить 21,5 млрд Рублей от Нефти и Газа в Сентябре, Сентябрь 3, 2020: Ожидаемый объем дополнительных нефтегазовых доходов федерального бюджета прогнозируется в сентябре 2020 года в размере 21,5 млрд руб.
