Russia's First LNG Refuelling Ship Completes Sea Trials, May 28, 2021: Russia's first ship designed to run on liquefied natural gas (LNG) and fuel other vessels with LNG has completed its sea trials, energy firm Gazprom Neft reported on Friday. The Dmitry Mendeleev is expected to enter Gazprom Neft's fleet in the second half of this year, the company said. "The next stage will be the testing of systems for loading, storing and discharging of LNG," it said. Read more...

Shell, Gazprom Neft Again Discussing Partnership on Meretoyakha, Cooperation on Other Blocks, May 26, 2021: Shell is again discussing a partnership on the Meretoyakha project and cooperation on other blocks with Russian oil company Gazprom Neft , Shell Russia chairman Cederic Cremers said. Asked about the prospects of resuming discussions on Shell joining this project, he said this was possible. Shell is holding discussions with Gazprom Neft on many projects, and will hold talks with the company at the St.Petersburg International Economic Forum next week, Cremers said. Read more...

ЦБ Назвал Умеренными Риски для Экономики от Роста Вложений Граждан в Иностранные Бумаги, Май 27, 2021: "Российские инвесторы начали активно вкладываться в инструменты рынка ценных бумаг, в том числе в иностранные акции и облигации в условиях снижения процентных ставок и развития финансовой инфраструктуры, позволившей населению легко выходить на различные площадки (в том числе иностранные). В случае существенного усиления тенденции роста вложений населения в ценные бумаги нерезидентов нельзя исключить формирования системных рисков. Суперцикл на Грани Энергоперехода, Май 28, 2021: После резкого спада во время пандемии цены на нефть вновь растут (нефть марки Brent торговалась вчера выше $68 за баррель), по оценке экспертов Международного валютного фонда (МВФ) речь идет о новом суперцикле — периоде, когда цены стабильно превышают долгосрочный тренд. Поддержку этому суперциклу оказывает устойчивая нехватка предложения на фоне сокращения объема инвестиций после падения цен в 2014 году. В последнее время вложения сокращаются и в сланцевую добычу, при этом спрос устойчиво растет — на фоне восстановления в таких крупных экономиках, как Китай и США, и оптимизма рынков в отношении распространения вакцинации.
