Lukoil Creates Largest Digital Model of Oil Field in Russia
Lukoil.com, September 22, 2021: PJSC LUKOIL brought into operation the largest digital model of an oil field in Russia. Creation of this complex integrated model of the Vatyeganskoye field is a part of LUKOIL's Intelligent Field project. This one-of-a-kind project (in terms of both scale and difficulty) envisages creation of digital twins of over 3 thousand wells and 12 production zones. Shell Signs Agreement to Sell Permian Interest for $9.5 Billion to ConocoPhillips
Shell.com, September 20, 2021: Shell Enterprises LLC, a subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell plc, has reached an agreement for the sale of its Permian business to ConocoPhillips, a leading shales developer in the basin, for $9.5 billion in cash. Budget May Receive 160 bln rbl/yr from Higher Taxes 2022–2024
1prime.biz, September 22, 2021: Russia’s federal budget may receive about 160 billion rubles of revenue per year in 2022–2024 thanks to a higher tax burden on producers of metals, coal and fertilizers, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov told reporters late on Tuesday. The ministry plans to reach a compromise with businesses regarding a retrospective hike in the corporate profit tax soon. Three Brands of Electric Vehicles Will Start Production in Russia
Russiabusinesstoday.com, September 23, 2021: According to Alexander Morozov, deputy director of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, production of three electric vehicle brands – Zetta, Kama-1, and Motorinvest – will commence in Russia over the next two to three years. He stated that Kamaz is considering building a new independent plant in Russia to produce the Kama-1 electric vehicle in 2024-2025, while Zetta is currently being certified. The Government is Preparing a Russian Version of the Carbon Levy

BP to Start Planned Maintenance on Chirag Platform
Azernews.az, September 22, 2021: BP, as operator of the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) block of fields, will start planned maintenance (turnaround - TAR) on the Chirag platform, as part of its ACG annual work programme, the company reported in its statement. In accordance with the plan, production from the Chirag platform will be suspended on September 23 for around 25 days to enable efficient maintenance, inspection and project work to be undertaken. В Правительстве Готовят Российский Вариант Углеродного Сбора ЕС
Vedomosti.ru, Сентябрь 23, 2021: В правительстве приступили к проектировкам национального варианта углеродного налога – аналогичного разработанному в ЕС механизму сбора за выбросы углекислого газа в атмосферу, сообщили «Ведомостям» два федеральных чиновника, а также собеседник, знакомый с ситуацией. О таких планах правительства знает представитель ОМК.
