USRCC’s Standardization Conference is a specialized technical conference that addresses common issues and challenges of standardization, certification and conformity assessment. 

USRCC in partnership with the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) and its Committee for Industrial Policy and Technical Regulation, invites you to attend the 4th Standardization Conference to discuss the requirements for the production and certification of hydrogen pipes.
The following questions to be discussed during the Conference:
  • Requirements for hydrogen pipes production;
  • Requirements on special pipes and pipelines for the hydrogen transportation;
  • Hydrogen pipes certification;
  • Existing standards and standards development for hydrogen pipes; and other related questions.

Shell Restores Production at Mars and Ursa in the Gulf of Mexico, November 5, 2021: On October 1, Shell safely and successfully re-started production at our Olympus platform in the Gulf of Mexico and began exporting oil and gas through the West Delta-143 (WD-143) “C” facility. When Mars and Ursa are fully ramped up, we will have 100% of Shell-operated production in the Gulf of Mexico back online, ahead of schedule from our initial estimates. Read more...
ExxonMobil and Pertamina to Evaluate Carbon Capture and Storage in Indonesia, November 2, 2021: ExxonMobil and Pertamina, the state-owned energy company for Indonesia, today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to evaluate the potential for large-scale deployment of low-carbon technologies in Indonesia. The MoU was signed near Glasgow, Scotland, where world leaders have gathered to discuss climate policies during COP 26. Read more...
Gazprom and RusGazDobycha Create Joint Venture to Develop Tambeyskoye Field in Yamal, November 2, 2021: Gazprom Dobycha Tambey Limited Liability Company, a joint venture established on a parity basis by Gazprom Nedra (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gazprom) and RusGazDobycha, was registered today. The joint venture will develop and provide for the pre-development of the Tambeyskoye field in the Yamal Peninsula, with gas production scheduled to start in 2026. The subsurface use licenses for the areas where the field is located will be handed over by Gazprom Nedra to Gazprom Dobycha Tambey in 2022. Read more...

Gazprom Neft Hydrocarbon Output Rises 3% to 74 mln tns in Jan–Sep, November 1, 2021: The hydrocarbon production of Russian oil company Gazprom Neft rose by 2.7% on the year to 74.06 million tonnes in January–September, as seen by PRIME in materials of the company on Monday. The output of oil, condensate, and liquid hydrocarbons grew by 0.7% to 45.93 million tonnes, while production of natural gas gained 6.3% to 34.09 billion cubic meters. Read more...
McDermott and Shell in Decarbonization Deal, November 4, 2021: McDermott has announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Shell Eastern Petroleum Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell plc, to collaborate on decarbonizing construction. The agreement enables McDermott and Shell to explore opportunities for reducing, and eliminating, emissions from construction through pathways such as low carbon fuels, renewable power, digital solutions and decarbonizing marine construction vessels, McDermott noted in a statement posted on its website. Russian Oil Output Rose in October on OPEC Quota Hike, November 2, 2021: Russia’s oil output increased in October for a second straight month as companies open the taps under the OPEC+ agreement to raise output.
The nation produced 45.86 million tons of crude oil and condensate last month, according to data from the Energy Ministry’s CDU-TEK unit. That equals 10.843 million barrels a day, based on a 7.33 barrel-per-ton conversion ratio, and is 1.1% higher than September. Read more...
Russian Government Approves Carbon Neutrality by 2060, November 3, 2021: Russia's Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced the signing of the 2050 Low Carbon Strategy, previously drafted by the Ministry of Economic Development and taking an "intensive" trajectory that implies carbon neutrality by 2060. As followed by bne IntelliNews, in October the ministry adopted a revised greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction strategy, setting the carbon neutrality deadline at 2060 and choosing an "intensive" scenario as the main proposed policy guideline. Russia’s Green Energy Transition Will Cost $1.2T – Kremlin Economic Aide, October 31, 2021: Russia’s transition to renewable energy could cost its economy roughly $1.2 trillion by 2050, a top Kremlin economic aide told the Kommersant business daily ahead of the landmark COP26 climate summit. Kerry Says US, Russian Delegations Talked in Glasgow About Methane Emissions, November 5, 2021: The US and Russian delegations have touched upon the efforts to reduce methane emissions among other issues at the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow, Scotland, US Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry said at a press conference at COP26 on Friday. "We were talking about how we might deal with methane, possibly work together," Kerry said without elaborating on the level of talks. Read more...

По его словам, рынок нефти сейчас восстанавливается, однако Россия видит ряд факторов, которые не позволяют сильнее нарастить добычу в рамках сделки ОПЕК+.
