USRCC’s Standardization Conference is a specialized technical conference that addresses common issues and challenges of standardization, certification and conformity assessment.
USRCC in partnership with the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) and its Committee for Industrial Policy and Technical Regulation, invites you to attend the 4th Standardization Conference to discuss the requirements for the production and certification of hydrogen pipes.
The following questions to be discussed during the Conference:
- Requirements for hydrogen pipes production;
- Requirements on special pipes and pipelines for the hydrogen transportation;
- Hydrogen pipes certification;
- Existing standards and standards development for hydrogen pipes; and other related questions.

Shell Restores Production at Mars and Ursa in the Gulf of Mexico
Shell.com, November 5, 2021: On October 1, Shell safely and successfully re-started production at our Olympus platform in the Gulf of Mexico and began exporting oil and gas through the West Delta-143 (WD-143) “C” facility. Gazprom and RusGazDobycha Create Joint Venture to Develop Tambeyskoye Field in Yamal
Gazprom.com, November 2, 2021: Gazprom Dobycha Tambey Limited Liability Company, a joint venture established on a parity basis by Gazprom Nedra (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gazprom) and RusGazDobycha, was registered today. The joint venture will develop and provide for the pre-development of the Tambeyskoye field in the Yamal Peninsula, with gas production scheduled to start in 2026. The subsurface use licenses for the areas where the field is located will be handed over by Gazprom Nedra to Gazprom Dobycha Tambey in 2022. Read more...

Gazprom Neft Hydrocarbon Output Rises 3% to 74 mln tns in Jan–Sep
1prime.biz, November 1, 2021: The hydrocarbon production of Russian oil company Gazprom Neft rose by 2.7% on the year to 74.06 million tonnes in January–September, as seen by PRIME in materials of the company on Monday. The output of oil, condensate, and liquid hydrocarbons grew by 0.7% to 45.93 million tonnes, while production of natural gas gained 6.3% to 34.09 billion cubic meters. Read more...

McDermott and Shell in Decarbonization Deal
Rigzone.com, November 4, 2021: McDermott has announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Shell Eastern Petroleum Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell plc, to collaborate on decarbonizing construction. The agreement enables McDermott and Shell to explore opportunities for reducing, and eliminating, emissions from construction through pathways such as low carbon fuels, renewable power, digital solutions and decarbonizing marine construction vessels, McDermott noted in a statement posted on its website. Russian Oil Output Rose in October on OPEC Quota Hike
Worldoil.com, November 2, 2021: Russia’s oil output increased in October for a second straight month as companies open the taps under the OPEC+ agreement to raise output.
The nation produced 45.86 million tons of crude oil and condensate last month, according to data from the Energy Ministry’s CDU-TEK unit. That equals 10.843 million barrels a day, based on a 7.33 barrel-per-ton conversion ratio, and is 1.1% higher than September. Read more...
