USRCC’s Standardization Conference is a specialized technical conference that addresses common issues and challenges of standardization, certification and conformity assessment.
USRCC in partnership with the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) and its Committee for Industrial Policy and Technical Regulation, invites you to attend the 4th Standardization Conference to discuss the requirements for the production and certification of hydrogen pipes.
The following questions to be discussed during the Conference:
- Requirements for hydrogen pipes production;
- Requirements on special pipes and pipelines for the hydrogen transportation;
- Hydrogen pipes certification;
- Existing standards and standards development for hydrogen pipes; and other related questions.

Shell to Acquire Energy Retailer, Powershop Australia
Shell.com, November 22, 2021: The transaction will take place through the 100% acquisition of Meridian Energy Australia Group (“MEA”), the parent company of Powershop, by a consortium of Shell and Infrastructure Capital Group (ICG), an Australian infrastructure investor and manager. LUKOIL’s Gas Production at Its Uzbekistan Projects Reaches One Hundred Billion Cubic Metres
Lukoil.com, November 24, 2021: The cumulative natural gas production reached 100 bcm at the projects implemented by LUKOIL in Uzbekistan since 2004. This mark became a notable achievement on the eve of LUKOIL's 30th anniversary. The bulk of this gas (over 70%) was extracted at the Kandym-Khauzak-Shady fields in the Bukhara region. In 2008, the Khauzak-Shady field reached its projected production rate of four bcm per year. In 2017, LUKOIL commissioned the Kandym Gas Processing Complex with the annual capacity of 8.1 bcm of gas per year. The complex is designed to convert sulphurous gas into marketable gas, stable gas condensate, and block sulphur. Read more...

Russian Metallurgical Giants See Growing Demand for Low-carbon Metals

Lukoil on the Money in Mexico with New Oil Discovery
Rigzone.com, November 24, 2021: Russian oil and gas firm Lukoil has made an oil discovery within the Yoti West structure at Block 12 offshore Mexico. Russia’s Oil Reserves are Becoming Increasingly Hard to Recover
Worldoil.com, November 24, 2021: Nearly all of Russia’s oil production will consist of the so-called hard-to-recover crude reserves unless the country speeds up and incentivizes exploration, Russia’s Deputy Energy Minister Pavel Sorokin said on Wednesday. “Almost 100% of our production will be hard to recover over the term of ten years,” Sorokin said, as quoted by Russian news agency TASS. CBR Expects Disclosure of Greenhouse Gas Emissions to Become Obligatory
Interfax.com, November 25, 2021: Disclosure of information about greenhouse gas emissions by companies will gradually become obligatory, the head of corporate relations development at the Central Bank of Russia (CBR), Andrei Yakushin said. "Under the law on restriction of greenhouse gas emissions, a number of emitters of greenhouse gas are already required to send their reports to the registry [of greenhouse gas emissions]. Russia Needs to Invest up to $54 bln a Year to Reduce Carbon Footprint - Cenbank
Reuters.com, November 25, 2021: Russia's plan to reduce its carbon footprint by 2050 will require investments of between 1 trillion roubles and 4 trillion roubles a year ($13.4 billion to $53.6 billion), the central bank said on Thursday. Производство СПГ в России Снизилось за 10 Месяцев
1prime.ru, Ноябрь 24, 2021: Объем производства сжиженного природного газа (СПГ) в России за десять месяцев текущего года составил 24,3 миллиона тонн, снизившись на 2,3% к аналогичному периоду прошлого года, сообщает Росстат. "Сжиженного природного газа (СПГ) в октябре произведено 2,8 миллиона тонн, что на 12% больше, чем в октябре 2020 года, и на 8,5% больше, чем в сентябре 2021 года. За десять месяцев 2021 года произведено 24,3 миллиона тонн СПГ, что на 2,3% меньше, чем в январе – октябре 2020 года", — отмечает ведомство. Читать далее...
