|
Dan DiLella is the Managing Partner of Hotaling Insurance Services (H.I.S) and has strategic control over the Houston office. H.I.S. is a nationally licensed and fully independent risk management family office with five offices across the country. Dan specializes in high-level estate planning for his clients that range from affluent business owners, families, and individuals to professional athletes and entertainers.
In 2014, Dan joined H.I.S. (formerly known as The Hotaling Group) as an insurance specialist. There he began his mentorship under the group’s founder and one of the most respected insurance agents in the country, Bobby Hotaling. Shortly after joining the firm, Dan was tasked with growing the group’s presence in the Houston market and spent several years cultivating business and creating meaningful relationships. After countless cross-country commutes, he was given the reins to open an office in “H-Town” and was named Managing Partner in 2018. In September of 2021, Dan was nationally recognized as one of Insurance Business America’s Rising Stars for his contributions to the industry.
Dan graduated from SUNY University at Albany in 2011 with a degree in Business Administrationand Finance. During his tenure at Albany, he was the starting quarterback of the I-AA football team where he led the Great Danes to their first ever FCS Playoff Game. He was recognized for his accomplishments both on and off the field by earning first-team All- Northeast Conferenceand FCS academic All-Star team honors. Dan then had the proverbial “cup of coffee” with the New York Jets during the summer of 2012 before entering the financial industry.

Prior to H.I.S., Dan started his insurance career at MetLife and in 2013, he was recognized as one of the top first year advisors on the East Coast.
When Dan is not working, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, Gina and their Goldendoodles, Cali & Finnegan. He is an active philanthropist and supports causes that are near and dear to his heart such as the With Merci Foundation, The National Kidney Foundation, and The American Cancer Society.

◾ USRCC Activities - New York City Networking Reception
|
|
On December 2, 2021, U.S.-Russia Chamber of Commerce and its North East Chapter hosted its “by invite only” New York City Networking Reception.
This event gathered over 40 executives from metals, energy, logistics & transportation, technology, real estate, finance, and other industries at Cornell Club Manhattan. Representatives of Greenwich Metals Inc., J.P. Morgan, Stemcor USA Inc., Ifchor North America, Brown Brothers Harriman, Goldman Sachs & Co., Glencore Ltd., Trident Commodities, Bloomberg, and other companies attended the event.
Anton Posner, CEO of The Mercury Group and USRCC's North East Chapter Chairman welcomed all reception guests on behalf of the USRCC and thanked all the reception sponsors who made this event possible. Reception attendees enjoyed meeting each other in person in New York City and an opportunity to mingle, get new connections and discuss possible partnerships.
The USRCC is looking forward to its upcoming events in New York City in 2022.

◾ USRCC Activities - Welcome Reception Honoring Delegations from Russia, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan to 23rd World Petroleum Congress
|

As 23rd World Petroleum Congress official partner, the USRCC hosted its Welcome Reception Honoring Delegations from Russia, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan on Tuesday, December 7th, 2021, at Four Seasons Hotel Houston.
Welcome remarks were made by Alexander Zakharov, Consul General of Consulate General of Russian Federation in Houston, Amanda Jernigan, Global Account Director of Parker Wellbore, and Denis Prokofiev, Head of International Technology Partnership of PJSC "Gazprom Neft."
The Reception provided energy industry executives with the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas and opinions. Over 50 executives from LUKOIL, PJSC "Gazprom neft", Parker Wellbore, Atlantic Ro-Ro Carriers, Shell, Chevron, Andersen, Radix Engineering, Neftegaz, Hotaling Insurance Services, Zenith Real Estate, Energy Transfer, Lummus Technology, Optimized Gas Treating, Derrick Corporation, Turkish Airlines, Houston First Corporation, and many others, as well as Government representatives attended the event.

Bakerhughes.com, December 7, 2021: Baker Hughes has been awarded a contract by Bechtel to provide high-efficiency gas turbines and centrifugal compressors to support the expansion of the Pluto LNG onshore processing facility in Western Australia, which is operated by Woodside. Lukoil Reports on Amended Terms of Share Acquisition in Shah Deniz Project
Lukoil.com, December 10, 2021: PJSC "LUKOIL" announces the signing of amendments to the agreement concluded in October 2021 on the acquisition of a share in the Shah Deniz project from PETRONAS. In accordance with the new arrangements, the share acquired by LUKOIL is reduced from 15.5% to 9.99% with proportional decrease in the transaction value from $2.25 billion to $1.45 billion. Fitch Improves Outlook for Russia’s GDP Growth in 2021 to 4.4%
1prime.biz, December 8, 2021: International rating agency Fitch Ratings has raised the forecast for Russia's gross domestic product (GDP) growth in 2021 to 4.4% from 4.3%, according to a document released Wednesday. The agency expect the GDP growth to slow down to 2.6% in 2022 and to 2% in 2023. The industry and construction sectors are expected to boost economic growth, while services can be hit the most by the pandemic. Inflation is estimated at 8% in 2021, 4.4% in 2022 and 4% in 2023.
