Your personalized paver will be a permanent fixture on the grounds of the memorial. Choose from one of ten different logos. Design your own text. As soon as you submit your order and payment, you'll be able to download a certificate which you can frame and present to your loved one in time for the holidays.
Who Purchases Pavers?
Submariners and their families - At the top of the list are the crewmembers of the USS Groton at 32 closely followed by the USS Angler at 23. And there are many, many more. Often a son or daughter purchases one for a parent, or a parent for a child still serving. Several submariners have purchased pavers to honor the spouses who have supported their service.
Boat Associations - Crewmembers have joined together to buy pavers to honor the boats on which they served.
EB Employees Past and Present - The list is growing daily. Whether it's designers, pipefitters, welders, painters, management, machinists or a host of other EB employees, people are showing their pride with a paver. Family members proud of their loved one's contribution have purchased pavers as gifts.
Electric Boat Departments and Unions - Proud of the work they've done together, pavers have been purchased to honor not just individuals but groups of people as well.
Community Members - You don't have to be a Submariner or work at Electric Boat to be proud to be a part of the Submarine Capital of the World. That's why teachers, community leaders, and local business leaders are also buying pavers.
Join the growing number of people who are choosing to honor a loved one at the Groton Sail Monument. This holiday season is the perfect opportunity.
