L6: Becky Lee Memorial Results

The third annual Becky Lee Memorial Tournament took place during the second weekend of Balloon Fiesta. While hundreds of hot air balloons took to the sky, 86 tennis players took to the court for singles, doubles, and mixed doubles matches. It was a beautiful sunny weekend with the temperature still in the 80's. A 50/50 raffle was held with 50% of the winnings going to the New Mexico Youth Tennis Foundation to continue supporting middle school tennis programs. $575 was brought in for the raffle. The lucky winner, Heather Cho, graciously donated her winnings of $287.50 back to the New Mexico Youth Tennis Foundation. Heather stated that if it weren't for middle school tennis, she wouldn't be in our amazing tennis community today. Thank you for all who played and donated. We hope to see everyone again in 2025!

2024 NNM Sets in the City Fall League Recap

Another fun social league season in the books! We reached 100 players this year across 10 teams. A big thank you to the captains:

Each week had a theme and the competition was tough! The themes included: Red, White, & Blue, Wimbledon White, Jersey Day, Adam Sandler Day, Decades, Dress as Your Favorite Holiday, Team Theme, and Halloween. We ended the season on Halloween with pizza, snacks, and an amazing DJ - Darnell! This season's winner is Sets on Fire who went undefeated!

2024 NNM Middle School Tennis Recap

The 28th year of the USTA Northern New Mexico Middle School Tennis Program took place from September to October at various locations. The season ended with a tournament with 293 players on 29 teams from 18 schools! While the weather was very uncooperative, matches were able to be completed. Congratulations to the following teams:

Spooktacular 10U Slam Results

On Saturday, October 26th, two junior tournaments took place at the Jerry Cline Recreation and Tennis Center. The L7: Green Chile Super Set #6 had a record-breaking 54 players! The Spooktacular 10U Slam had 7 players with 4 new players to tournaments. It was a beautiful day with 97 matches played! Sportsmanship continues to exceed expectations in Northern New Mexico.
