We will provide additional information soon regarding shuttle services as parking on site is reserved. Your $25 entry fee will go towards purchasing gifts for the Boys & Girls Club of St. Thomas. Boys & Girls Club Holiday Luncheon
Thank you to our members for your contributions to the Boys & Girls Club Annual Holiday Luncheon held at Oswald Harris Court. The children enjoyed a delicious holiday feast courtesy of Bolongo Bay Beach Resort; Emerald Beach Resort; Frenchman’s Reef Resort; Marriott Frenchman’s Cove; The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas; The Westin, St. John; and the USVI Hotel & Tourism Association. Eco-Schools Meet with Teachers for Training at USVIHTA Office
On Nov. 20 and 21, teachers met with representatives from Eco-Schools and the National Wildlife Federation for Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Program Teacher Professional Development Training workshops. The program was adapted for the U.S. Virgin Islands using a version of the NYC Resilience in Schools Curriculum (RiSC). Ten educators from Charlotte Amalie High School, Eudora Kean High School, Gifft Hill School, St. Croix Educational Complex High School, St. Croix Central High School, St. Croix Career and Technology High School and Montessori School were in attendance. Bacardi and Micromentor Announce USVI Caribbean Innovation Challenge Winners
A local farm, an award winning film production company and a solar technology company are just some of the 25 small businesses in the U.S. Virgin Islands that will receive financial assistance from Bacardi and MicroMentor as they continue to recover from the 2017 hurricane season. The winners were chosen based on their ability to show how their businesses are innovative, sustainable and viable; and will receive cash prizes of $1,500, $2,500 or $5,000. Read more.
