MLB Creative Awarded Eight Top Design Awards
The Caribbean Advertising Federation (CAF) has announced the winners of the American Advertising Awards for 2021.The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s most comprehensive and prestigious competition recognizing creative excellence in advertising. Fourty-four companies from the Caribbean submitted more than 550 entries in the competition. MLB Creative earned a total of eight awards. The new Bluebeards Logo and the Bluebeards Launch Brand Campaign were both awarded gold. “This bold branding and the vibrant launch campaign position the reinvented resort to attract new younger markets,” according to Terri Brown, MLB Creative CEO. U.S. Virgin Islands Travel Guidelines
The USVI Department of Tourism has released updated guidelines for visiting the territory. Click here to read the full press release.

What you should know:

  • Submit an approved COVID-19 test result and get cleared to travel to the U.S. Virgin Islands.


  • No COVID-19 test result is required to return to the U.S. mainland (unless the state you are traveling to has specific COVID-19 testing requirements in place).

You are invited to participate in the USVI 2021 Community Health Priority Survey! The USVI Department of Health is surveying current residents about their ideas and opinions about health in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The Department of Health needs your input to set priorities for its Community Health Improvement Plan, a document that will help focus our efforts on health topics that are important to residents. Here is your chance to add your voice to the planning process by taking a short survey. This survey is voluntary and anonymous. New MBW Board Officers Elected at Annual Board Meeting
At the annual My Brother’s Workshop meeting held in February, longtime MBW supporter Ty Troutman of Bechtel was elected president of MBW's Board of Directors. Troutman will replace Lisa Hamilton, who served as MBW Board President for two years and also held the position as secretary. Hamilton has served on the MBW Board since 2014. Bryan Williams' Tip: One Word - Believe
Count yourself as blessed if you've ever had a leader who believes in you. I've been incredibly fortunate over the years to have many amazing people who encouraged, corrected, recognized and challenged me. All of it was done with my best interest at heart. Through their individual and collective coaching, I was built up. I also realized that my potential was meant to be actualized. Those leaders made a major impact on my life because of their belief in my potential. If you are a leader, a big part of your job is to believe in people! Find something, in every person, to believe in. Otherwise, they shouldn't be on your team. Why? Because they will know that you don't believe in them. When that happens, they will not actualize their potential with you as the leader.
