U.S. Virgin Islands Solidifies Relationship with Cruise Lines
The U.S. Virgin Islands continues to strengthen its relationship with cruise line partners as the region prepares for the strong growth forecast for the cruise ship industry. Speaking at the annual Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) Cruise Conference and Trade Show, USVI Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. reported that the delegation gathered much valuable information about the evolving form of the massive cruise industry. Read more .
Caribbean’s Largest Tourism Marketing Event – Caribbean Travel Marketplace - on Track for The Bahamas
Citing the new tourism offerings in The Bahamas and throughout the Caribbean and the opportunity to showcase the nation of islands to the travel world following Hurricane Dorian, the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA) reaffirmed that all systems are go to bring the region's largest and longest-standing tourism marketing event to The Bahamas Jan. 21 to 23, 2020. The launch of MBW’s “Celebrate Fall, Celebrate Hope” fundraising campaign at Rock City Beer Barn was a huge success, bringing in almost $3000 in donations. Gov. Bryan Has Full Slate of Meetings Scheduled During Washington, D.C. Trip
Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. has scheduled a series of meetings with various agencies and entities while he is in Washington, D.C. this week. Oct. 29 through Oct. 31, Bryan and some of his senior policy advisors and Cabinet members attended 21 meetings, starting with a meeting with Delegate to Congress Stacey Plaskett on Capitol Hill.
