USVIHTA Update | September 2020
Greetings Members,

As you direct your guests to visit the USVI Travel Screening Portal at, please be sure to notify visitors of a few updates. The Department of Health has changed the age in which people entering the territory are mandated to test for COVID-19. Previously, anyone under 15 years of age was exempt. This has been revised so that anyone 4 years of age and under is exempt, but anyone 5 years of age and older must be tested. The Department of Health expects to have an updated Supplemental Executive Order issued soon; however, members will need to comply to the new mandate going forward. Please make sure you make necessary updates to your guest resources. Additionally, tests for visitors must be done within 5 days of travel, which is a change from the previous supplemental that stated the test had to be received back within 5 days of travel. Please remember to discuss these adjustments with visitors prior to their travel date.
