and more!
Thieme's MedOne Education supports the medical school curriculum with resources for teaching materials, study, review, and test preparation.

  • More than 150 eBooks
  • More than 42,000 images
  • Videos
  • USMLE Test Prep and Review

Access MedOne Education at the Library's website or download the MedOne App for full access to the platform, including the ability to download full books for use off-line. A free personal account is required to use the app; to set up an account, access the platform from within the UT Southwestern network and select the "Create Home Access" option. Once the account is created, users will authenticate themselves via their username/password the first time they access the MedOne App.
Construction Update
UT Southwestern is excited to welcome our first cohort of MPH students enrolled in the Peter O’Donnell, Jr. School of Public Health a year from now.

Portions of E2 (the Library) space will transition to School of Public Health classrooms and offices. The yellow, orange, and purple zones are included in these changes.

Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin at the end of July 2022 and finish in January 2023. The remaining Library space will be optimized for studying, collaboration, and educational purposes. More information will be posted in the E2 space soon.

Announcing Ovid Books Browse Navigation
There's an enhanced interface to help you get the most out of your books content. In this first iteration of Books Browse, you can:

  • View an alphabetized list of titles (with alpha pagination)
  • View only those titles your institution has access to
  • Search by book title or ISBN
  • Navigate seamlessly between books and journals content
  • Sort by title and publication date
Attention Researchers!

This initiative aims to promote research resource identification, discovery, and reuse. The portal provides a central location for obtaining and exploring Research Resource Identifiers (RRIDs).

The RRID is a persistent and unique identifier for referencing a research resource, such as antibodies, plasmids, model organisms, cell lines and software tools. Knowing the exact research resources used in an experiment removes ambiguity and allow researchers to replicate the experiment.

To search if a RRID exists or to register a new research resource, visit the Resource Identification Portal.
Collecting UTSW’s historical records, in digital or physical format, ensures that they can be preserved and made accessible to researchers in the future. If you or your department has items that might be related to the history of UTSW, please reach out to archives@utsouthwestern.edu.
