Dear colleagues,
Welcome to The Pulse! Over the past few months, our department communication team – Sara Zuniga and Ann Tennier – have worked on redesigning our newsletter. In its new format, the newsletter will be sent out weekly every Thursday with some recurring items in case you missed them, and new items labeled as new if you read the letter regularly.
The newsletter will be the main tool of communication from the department leadership. It will include announcements of key initiatives, highlights of awards and grants, save-the-dates, and other sections.
If you have news to share, please email them to Psychiatry Communications at Psychiatry.Communications@UTSouthwestern.edu for consideration.
I would like to thank Sara and Ann for their dedication and hard work, and I hope the newsletter in its new format will be informative, inspire you to engage in departmental activities, and stimulate collaboration among yourselves for innovation in care, education, and research.
Cheers,
Tarek K. Rajji
