UU Organizations Retirement Plan Updates
March 2017
Thank you for subscribing to UU Organizations Retirement Plan information. We welcome your engagement with the Plan.

On the path, together
This month we challenge you to take actions to help your employees (or yourself) take steps on the path toward achieving more robust financial well-being.
Your Office Administrator probably supports your employees with information about the Retirement Plan and your other Employee Benefit plans. Will your congregation support the Administrator's attendance at General Assembly this year? Is your Administrator engaged with the AUUA (Association of UU Administrators)?

Another way to support your employees is by sharing
some of the interactive tools, conversations and insights available on TIAA:

For instance, on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, in honor of International Women's Day, you might share:

Woman2Woman
: Financial Living
- the go-to online community specifically for women, offering information and ideas about finances, leadership and family topics.

For those nearing retirement, see this:

MyRetirement - the online community for retirement planning and solutions for people who are five to ten years away from retirement or currently retired.

For any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to TIAA's dedicated line at 800-842-2829.

Annuity Options in the Plan

Did you know?
The UU Organizations Retirement Plan investment menu does include TIAA's flagship product, the TIAA Traditional Annuity, the TIAA Real Estate Account  (which is a variable annuity), as well as a solid array of investment choices spanning asset classes and including SRI options.
Goals and Dreams for the Future

How will you finance your next dream?
Whether it is a dream to retire in order to spend precious time with family, friends, and in community action, or if you are moved to volunteer your time and talents, a successful savings strategy starts with understanding your financial needs.
TIAA offers an interactive Retirement Goal Evaluator to help clarify where you are and what actions you might take to arrive where you intend to be a few, or many, years from now.
Once you have the information, evaluate to what extent it shall inform your next actions. Exercise independent judgment when making decisions about your future.
