"I have been a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Greater Lynn for as long as I can remember, and it has shaped the way that I view the world, giving me a deep-seated desire to use the privilege of a college education to help others. I will be studying Chemical Engineering with a focus in Nuclear Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell starting this fall. Cities like Lynn need to adopt innovative energy solutions in order to become affordable for ordinary people again. My goal is to help remove the hold that fossil fuels have on the country and, in the process, lead American society—and more specifically, cities like ours—to a more equitable and sustainable future." |
