I wrote last month of an early Spring. I still think it's happening, but I woke this morning to a blanket of snow. There had been snow swirling beyond the office windows yesterday, sometimes quite thickly, but it never accumulated, so this morning's layer of white was unexpected. And it never got above freezing yesterday, nor is it expected to do so today. (As I type this, the windchill is 10 degrees.)
However! We're looking at temps in the 60s with sunshine by the weekend!
Amanda Mangiardi has filled this months Beacon with a rich palette of Spring/Easter/Renewal colors and - as usual - a wealth of information regarding what's going on even though we still can't meet in person.
But there is much to look forward to: by this time next month we will likely know the name of our new Settled Minister! Meanwhile, enjoy the lengthening days and the warming weather...
