Justice For Our Neighbors West Michigan is a ministry of hospitality in Grand Rapids, Holland, Kalamazoo and Traverse City that welcomes immigrants into our communities by providing affordable, high-quality immigration legal services, engaging in advocacy for immigrant rights, and offering education to communities of faith and the public.  JFON advocates for immigrants on issues of social justice and works to make our communities more welcoming to all immigrants, regardless of race or religion.

Sundays in July

Our 5th annual Specialty Class Summer (our summer program for children preK-5th grade on Sunday mornings which runs June 1st - Resumption Sunday in September) is off to a great start!  These lessons consist of fun & informative experiences led by congregants and special guests.

July features lessons on beekeeping, our UU ancestor, Fannie Farmer, and much more!

Youth are invited to remain in the sanctuary throughout the summer.

This month's suggested readings for families/parents are silly and fun!
  • The Book with No Pictures - B.J. Novak
  • Woolbur - Leslie Helakowski
