We Are Change Agents!
Rev. Lee Anne Washington
Members of Systemic Change Team will be discussing three topics. Before you go to coffee hour, you will be invited to rank your preferences as our congregational focus. Integral to our ability to effect change is good leadership. Two former board members will also discuss the joys of serving on our board of trustees.
During the duration of our OWL program, all children should report directly to their respective classrooms.

What is involved in serving on the Board of Trustees or Leadership Development Team? Join us after service on this Sunday, February 2 in the East Room to find out. Board and LDT members will share their experiences and answer any questions about these elected positions. No commitment to serve required – just a chance for everyone to learn and consider. E-mail ldt@uucnh.org if you have questions. All are welcome!

Inclement Weather Procedure
|
Although there’s no significant snow in our short-term forecast, our recent weather experience has reminded us that there may be times when we need to close in-person activities at our church building. In the event that we need to do this, there are four ways we’ll get the word out to you: (1) we’ll send out an e-mail blast, (2) we’ll post the information on our web site at www.uucnh.org, (3) we’ll put a post on our UUCNH Community Facebook page, and (4) we’ll notify WTAE so they can include us in their list of closures. Meanwhile, think warm thoughts!

Building on our commitment to being a welcoming congregation offering radical hospitality as we co-create the beloved community, we want to reiterate our coffee hour protocol. Please:
- Pick a Sunday to start the coffee, dress the tables, and put out cups, plates, and flatware
- Sign up on the large sign-up sheet in Friendship Hall
- Every Sunday bring a little something to eat*
- Every Sunday pitch in to load the dishwashers and throw out the trash-many hands make light work
- Take home any leftovers from your contribution
Without volunteers willing to sign up, there can be no coffee hour. Do your part and keep coffee hour alive!
*That little something could be an apple, a hunk of cheese, a sleeve of crackers, a plate of brownies, or even leftover frittata from your garden party!
Just as in the Stone Soup parable, if we all bring a little of what we have, everyone will feast!
